Job Title: Senior Installation/Service Engineer

Requirement: Vacancies have arisen for Engineers and Senior Engineers based in the Midlands and along the M40 corridor. Coverage is nationwide. This role includes a high proportion of business travel and long working days so a willingness to do both is essential.

Package: 25-30K OTE
22 days paid annual leave

Duties and Responsibilities:
General:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be flexible and diligent, with a willing attitude to work. They must be conversant with modern Intruder, CCTV and Access control systems and currently holding either a senior Engineers position or be capable of developing into the role. Networking/IT knowledge would be an advantage but is not essential.

The candidate must have the ability to install and maintain mainly large commercial/industrial systems with some residential systems:

Intruder:
Familiarity with networked (data bus) systems is a must.
Our intruder alarm spread is: Galaxy (70%), Menvier (10%), Aritech and Scantronic (10%) Europlex (2%) Others (8%). Working knowledge of Galaxy systems would be a definite benefit.

CCTV:
Installation and maintenance of Digital CCTV systems in commercial and retail premises. Some of which have network / IP access.

Access Control:
Installation and maintenance of networked Access Control Systems such as PAC (60%), Paxton (20%), and others, which include Northern Computers and Bewater (20%).

Paperwork: Completion of all job related and personal paperwork accurately, on time and inline with company procedures is an absolute requirement.

Call Out: The engineer will join the call out rota.

Fair Travel: Engineers are paid from the time they left home till the time they return home less an hour. This is included as part of the OTE. It must be emphasised that the candidate must be willing to do a significant amount of business travel as part of the role.
